Innovation Friday Recap

At Click Here Labs, we’re always looking for fresh ways to explore the intersection of technology, creativity, and culture. For our latest Innovation Friday, we served up something a little different, starting with a challenge that was equal parts fun, unexpected, and surprisingly tasty.

The pantry-to-plate AI recipe challenge

We kicked things off by asking every team member to dig into their own kitchens, literally. The rules were simple: choose 10 ingredients you already had at home, plug them into the AI platform of your choice, and let it generate a custom breakfast recipe.

The results were as diverse and unexpected as our team. While some opted for familiar staples such as eggs and toast, others challenged the AI with curveball ingredients like capers, kimchi, and pizza sauce. Standout creations included a decadent Peanut Butter–Choco Lava Oatmeal Soufflé, bold and savory Kimchi-Cheese Drop Biscuits, and surprisingly refined Elk Tenderloin Breakfast Tacos. Each recipe reflected the unique perspective and creativity behind it.

From code to kitchen

Once the recipes were in, we voted on our favorites, and the Maple Bacon Lil Smokies Breakfast Cups were chosen to be brought to life. A teammate whipped it up and brought it to Innovation Friday for everyone to enjoy together. The shared meal wasn’t just delicious; it was a real-world taste of what happens when you give technology a little creative license and see where it goes.

We also compiled every submission into a downloadable recipe book, complete with AI-generated imagery of each dish. It’s a quirky, visually rich snapshot of what happens when tech and taste meet and a fun reminder that innovation doesn’t always start in the office. Sometimes, it starts in your pantry.

Why it matters

This wasn’t just a food experiment, it was a creativity exercise in discipline, collaboration, and execution. It pushed us to think differently about inputs and outputs, and how emerging tools like AI can inspire unexpected ideas (and outcomes). As an agency always looking for new ways to challenge convention, it was a timely and tasty reminder that innovation thrives when you’re willing to experiment.
